Ricoh Content Manager is a virtual storehouse for the content you work on and share with coworkers and partners.  Each account provides security, tools, and processes for sharing documents and files among users.  Processes allow you to create, edit, and forward documents regardless of your technical expertise.

  

An account stores both documents and property values about the documents, cabinets and folders that contain them.  Documents stored in an account can be text, graphics, sound, video, binary content, or other types of content that might be contained within a file.  Property values are descriptive characteristics about the document, such as creation date, author, version number, and other information.  Only the document’s creator (or another user with the necessary access level) may edit property values.
